Dear everyone:

I'm Changjiang from HK. I'm building Parsec3.0 on 32-bit Ubuntu 12.04. In
the total 13 benchmark applications, there are *three programs (raytrace,
vips, dedup) *having building failures. I don't know how to solve them to
succeed the building process. The following is the failure console

*1. raytrace*

checking for GLUT... configure: error: Package requirements (x11 xmu xi)
were not met:

No package 'xmu' found
No package 'xi' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables GLUT_CFLAGS
and GLUT_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

[PARSEC] Error: 'env ./configure --with-driver=xlib --enable-glut
--enable-static --disable-shared

*2. vips*

checking for inflate in -lz... no
configure: error: *** Working zlib library and headers not found ***
[PARSEC] Error: 'env
--disable-shared --enable-threads --with-threads=posix

*3. dedup*

encoder.o: In function `Encode':
undefined reference to `S_ISREG'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [dedup] Error 1

Can anyone help me on those issues? Thank you very much.

Best regards
