[parsec-users] Compiling 3.0 on amd64

I cannot get three of the tests to compile on an amd64 box. Some details
below - anyone with clues as to how to fix these? All the others build.

Dedup --- (I have already patched this with an updated version of the SSL
sources after earlier problems)...
