Hi everyone,

This may seem like a simple problem, but I'm having trouble building PARSEC. I've attached a picture of what I am trying to do and I'd really appreciate if anyone could give me some feedback on what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks
Hello Adit

First make sure you are in the bin directory. Then you should make sure that the execution rights of parsecmgmt are set, you can check that using:
ls -l parsecmgmt
If execution rights are not enabled, you can enable them by doing:
chmod +x parsecmgmt
Once you enable execution rights you can build the benchmarks in the following manner:
./parsecmgmt -a build
Note that the ./ is necessary because the bin directory is not in your "PATH" variable, and by default the system searches for executables in the directories that are specified in the PATH variable, so if you simply type parsecmgmt it will search for it but it won't find it.

I hope this helps!
