[sndtools] Failed to Read Valid Object (sndpeek-1.1)

When I start sndpeek, it immediately segfaults:

(shift)'v' - RAISE the max viewable frequency
'x' - restart file playback (if applicable)
'l' - scale DOWN the lissajous!
'L' - scale UP the lissajous!
'q' - quit
