Hello Rob, I only work with ChucK from Terminal/iTerm2, and it works fine for me with similar hardware on 10.14.6. Do your patches advance time? If not, the process will end before you hear anything. You can always end a patch with 1::week => now; and kill the shred when you want it to stop. michael

Simple adc patches not working at all when run from Terminal. No error but no audio either. Same patches work in MiniAudicle (yay Spencer).

Both built-in laptop mic or external interface give no sound.

I can't find existing bugs for this. Anyone else see similar behaviors?

I'm not dying to upgrade to OS X 10.15 this week but will if that fixes things.
