What is the state of the ChucK code site? - I should perhaps post the tuning systems programs I made. Hans
Do it. What ChucK code site are we discussing? Also, what about starting some sort of github system for ChucK tuning libraries? That might be a fun project. I've got Scala systems that I enjoy. Andrew On Jul 25, 2010, at 12:49 AM, Hans Aberg wrote:

Hmm. Last time only those with special clearance could do it.

I don't know. The ChucK project is using some kind of decentralized approach.

The Haskell site http://haskell.org/ has a link "Find a library". Something like that, but possibly for code snippets as well. Also, LilyPond http://lilypond.org/ has a Snippet Repository <http://lsr.dsi.unimi.it/
. Search for a music term there; if one clicks on image, one gets to see the code. The ChucK equivalent might be sound files.

hi,
I think if you ask you can get edit permissions on the wiki but there
was a spam problem a while ago.
A ChucK code repository would be an interesting idea and potential
very useful though while there is a good argument for some sort of
version controlled system perhaps a more simple here's my code
approach would work.
Guess I am jumping the gun a bit here but I do think a site for
storing, swapping ChucK code would be ace.

That was the original motivation behind LiCK, a Library for ChucK
http://github.com/heuermh/lick
Fork and post your code there, or if you'd rather use some other
place. Then let the list know about it.
