Hello All, I have found "highlight scripts" (or whatever we call them) for VIM and for JEdit on the web page, but I'd like to stick to SciTE, which I like the most. However, it does not seem to know ChucK... Does anyone have a SciTE .properties file for ChucK or should I make one? BTW, selecting "Java" as the language highlights keywords quite well. Regards, Szilveszter (aka Hillaby)
I get distortion when playing more than two notes (using a version of the diatonic.ck i posted earlier) in the new $ chuck --version chuck version: 1.2.1.3 (dracula) exe target: mac os x : universal binary It increases with then number of notes. I have checked with the version before, 1.2.1.2 - there is nothing of that. Hans
I have made a small example with problem. In latest 1.2.1.3 Mac OS X, get distortion, but not in 1.2.1.2. Hans
I have seen this too. Are you using a MOTU sound interface? I assumed it was
some kind of bug correction - I have been able to output values between -2.0
and 2.0 in earlier versions of ChucK without getting distortion, which I
think was a bug.
So, I think the output volume from ChucK has increased generally.

Mark of the Unicorn something? No. Just directly from the console.

Yes, the volume seems increased. I'm not sire what should be correct, though. Hans

In 1.2.1.2 the devs add the note, "dac output no longer halved!",
which would explain why you could output -2.0 to 2.0 before. It
shouldn't still work in 1.2.1.2 and above, though--was this on an
older build?

No, the version without the distortion is $ chuck-1.2.1.2 --version chuck version: 1.2.1.2 (dracula) exe target: mac os x : universal binary The one with it is $ chuck --version chuck version: 1.2.1.3 (dracula) exe target: mac os x : universal binary I have saved chuck version 1.2.1.2 as chuck-1.2.1.2, so that I can switch between them. Yeah, I've noticed the difference between 1.2.1.2 and 1.2.1.3 too.
