uCode Assembler

I would like to have a uCode assembler which runs on our Linux
workstations.

Looking at some of the example code on the developer's CD-ROM, I ran
across across some instructions for building under Linux.

Is there some version of the uCode assembler for Linux available from
Intel?  If not, could the source code be made available?

The provided assembler appears quite feature-rich and we would greatly
prefer it to a homegrown one.
