[ixp1200] Problem with programming the flash

I guess you tried to erase the flash then write to it as well.

Hi All,
      I am currently trying to program IXP1200 flash with the Intel
firmware. I am using flash burner equipment called Topmax which is from the
company EEtools. Inspite of following the instructions as mentioned in the
manual I am unable to write to the flash. Read from flash is successful, but
writes are not happening. Have any of you faced a similar problem? Do I need
to take some extra steps before writes are allowed? The device continuously
makes attempts to write but in the end is unable to write anything.
