[ixp1200] Open source network stack?

Hi, I wonder if there is an open source implementation of a network 
stack, or a field stack for ENP-2505?

I'm not quite sure what a field stack is, but someone told me that a 
network stack would probably be exceeding the cards resources.

Any hint or help is welcome
