Next month, the ChucK Team will be teaching a 5-day summer workshop at
Stanford University on audiovisual programming and game design in
ChucK/ChuGL. Come get your computer music on (and graphics, too)
what: Audio-Centric Game Design in ChucK + ChuGL
An Introduction to Programming Sound & Graphics
who: taught by Andrew Zhu Aday, Kunwoo Kim, Ge Wang
when: 2025 August 4th-8th (Monday-Friday) 10am-6pm
where: remote OR in-person at CCRMA, Stanford University
why: learn audiovisual programming in ChucK/ChuGL and game design
In this workshop, participants will learn to program interactive
audiovisual software using ChucK/ChuGL. Topics include real-time sound
synthesis, graphics programming, interaction and game design, and how to
expressively put all of these elements together. Over the week,
participants will put these ideas into motion, building video game
prototypes or other audiovisual projects of their own choosing.
5-Day workshop fee: $521 (financial aid available on a case-by-case
