ChucK + Summer Workshops

Hello, I am looking for a sound synthesis/composition workshop that takes place this up comming summer. I read that either or both CCRMA and Princeton have had a summer workshop that focused on ChucK. Does anyone know if this is happening this year? Also, if anyone knows of any good summer workshops that use ChucK, Max/Msp, Pd, SuperCollider, Reaktor or Kyma (did I miss any : P ) in their curriculum, or just provide a good educational experience in Computer Music I'd like to hear about those as well. I am looking for a program in The States, Europe, or Canada that is open to undergraduates. Thanks in advance everyone and keep up the good work. HidMsg question

Hi, I cannot figure out to to extract the mouse position from HidMsg. I've looked at C++ code and there are four elements passed through the "idata" array and two through "fdata", I don't understand how can I access those values in Chuck. So far I can access only one value from "idata" or "fdata" in Chuck and I cannot figure out what it is. Alexey

Hi Gasten, I've discovered that there's no sound if the .freq call is made before a sample is read. If you read and call .freq afterwards it's fine. So my problem's solved, though I'd like to request that ChucK prints error or warning messages in situations like this. (windows) Mini-Audicle keeps running after exit..

Hi Chuck List, Being my first post, thanks for all. I have been reading the list for a while already, and thanks that too. I am trying chuck on windows and it is being quite nice as all goes well and smooth. Mini-audicle is the only noty boy here. When i exit it, by alt+F4, clicking on the little X on top right, or by Alt+X, it visually quits, but it still keeps a process "mini-audicle" in task manager. I am using Windows XP and mini-audicle 0.1.3.8 (alpha). I had no similar problems in Ubuntu. Have anyone seen something similar? cheers, renato
