chuck MIDI handling

Just a question, before I run off and duplicate anything. I use a lot of outboard MIDI stuff and am very interested in using chuck for glue and MIDI generation. As far as I can see, MIDI handling in chuck is fairly clumsy, particularly for MIDI generation. Is anyone currently working on developing a more friendly interface for this or is it worth taking some time over. clearing arrays quickly

If I've got n array of say, ints, either 1 or two dimensional, is there a fast way to clear the array (or set it some constant value of my choice). midiaudicle editor wishlist

Realistically, how much functionality would we expect to see in the midi audicle editor? A few things I'd like ot see included. 1. Autoindent, at least to the point of indenting the same as the line preceding 2. Syntax highlighting understanding hex literals. OneZero example

Hi Ok, I'm interested in getting some basic filtering going, first maybe just a simple low pass filter. So I received my copy of "Real Sound Synthesis". Section 3.9 suggests a low pass filter could be realized with a one-zero filter with "a" set between 0 and 1. Looking at http://chuck.cs.princeton.edu/doc/program/ugen_full.html#OneZero I don't see any "a", and where in the book can I read about b0 and b1. Even if no shreds were run and VM was not started at all. (Running on Windows XP SP2) FR: An option/hotkey to show VM and Console windows would be great. If one of them is accidentally closed, there's currently no way to open it back. miniAudicle - chuck source font size

Just built miniAudicle on a linux laptop with a small screen, and the font in the editor is way too small! Looks like this is hardcoded to size 10 on line 65 of mAView.cpp. Is changing the source the only way to set the font size for the editor? Once again, great little IDE! - Tyler

I'd like to use functions to stop and restart shreds. Is this the right way to do it? It doesn't seem to be working properly - I get errors from some shreds when I thought they'd all stopped.
